Overview

The CMS FY 2011 budget request was submitted to Congress on February 1, 2010. This Congressional Justification of the budget presents the resource requests for programs, focuses on key performance measures, and summarizes program results.

The CMS FY 2011 Annual Performance Plan and FY 2009 Annual Performance Report required under the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 (GPRA) are fully integrated into the FY 2011 CMS Congressional Justification of the budget. Additionally, the CMS Congressional Justification is supplemented by the FY 2011 CMS Online Performance Appendix, which provides performance information and more detailed information for all CMS measures.
